BIOGRAPHY

Dick Robinson takes pride in being a human resources business expert. With 30 years senior HR management experience, Dick quickly identifies the HR vulnerabilities and develops innovative and sustainable solutions that defeat the profit grabbers. He specializes in smaller organizations that are at a disadvantage due to lack of the required internal HR expertise and acts as your expert HR coach.

Prior to founding his unique consulting practice in 2000, Dick held a senior Human Resources leadership role with Calgary's largest employer. Major accomplishments included the re-engineering of all compensation and benefits programs for 16,000 employees following the simultaneous merger of 8 previously autonomous organizations.

From 1982 to 1995 he was Director of Human Resources for a major Calgary Hospital acknowledged as a leader in programs and services for staff. Dick also enjoyed 6 years as the senior Human Resources executive for an innovative and respected retail store chain in Edmonton and Calgary. Before entering the private sector, he gained considerable first line management and personnel experience while serving as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces in Canada and overseas.

Dick is a Certified Human Resources Professional, serves on the Board of the Human Resources Association of Calgary and is an active member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. Other professional affiliations include the Calgary Council for Advanced Technology, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Digital Media Association of Alberta.

He has an Honours BA (Economics and Commerce) with first class honours from the Royal Military College of Canada, Kingston, Ontario.
